Nintendo has announced Pokemon Global Link - a website that'll let fans step a little bit closer to the widely-shared dreams of a Pokemon MMO by letting players of Pokemon Black and White do trades and other simple tasks through an online portal.

It's no big secret that the Japanese are pretty Pokemon mad, and they've just proved it by slamming in a frankly pretty-ridiculous one million preorders for the game.

Between the two games there's been a grand total of over one million preorders, Japanese site OnlinePlayer reports. If all these preorders convert into sales, they'll be the fastest-ever selling Pokemon games in Japan.
